'Abula' and more @Rita's Catering Service (Caterer Review)

The occasion was the wedding of Martina and Olamide last Saturday and Rita's Catering service was on hand to add colour and 'taste' to the day. 😁

A wide variety of African dishes (Nigerian in particular) were available for guests to choose from.

So much to choose from, guests had a bit of this that and everything and ended up with plates looking like this 😅. Everything tasty or 'finger licking' as Rita would say.

The highlight of the day, a rarity, making it's grand entrance at the later part of the reception was
'Abula' - yam flour swallow (in mouldable solid form) served with 'gbegiri' beans soup and 'ewedu' (corchorus olitorius) It was served piping hot having been freshly prepared on site.
A signature Yoruba dish from the couple's part of the country, Nigeria.

Always a good way to celebrate 'a good thing'; like finding a wife 😁.
Lots of satisfied guests and newcomers to the African Food scene that day.

It was 'all good'.

Can we share your story too?

Have a great week.
